standards

Clip to ScrapBook
Stick with good old letter grades! Our district has gone from the traditional report card to the traditional with an additional page with over 100 skills (2nd grade) printed so small you need glasses to read it. This year they have put it all on one page, letter grades and standards. I am in an inner-city district letter grades are easier to understand for parents. Many of the standards really don't have anything to do with a child's success in that grade level. I have had many tell me that they don't really look at the checklist.
