Clip to ScrapBook
I send home a weekly newsletter. I got the form out of a mailbox magazine. Basically what it is on the form are the days of the week with lines next to each day. I write the main things we did in class each day, usually for math and reading. There are also four squares off to the right side. In these squares I write next week's spelling words, any upcoming events, different supplies I might need for the classroom, or anything else I want to write a short note about.

These are premade sheets that can be made on a word processor or print shop. I keep one next to my lesson plans and fill in the days activities at the end of the day. I just make copies of the handwritten form and it doesn't take much time at all.
