Great suggestions...There are several wonderful books written to help in this area. One is 'Good Bye Round Robin' which will give you excellent comprehension lessons as well as book titles to use during these at a variety of GLs K-8. Another is Strategies That Work. I also have several that are targeted toward Social Studies and Non fiction. Let me know if you'd like those titles or publishing information.
