Hang in there!
By LisaT

Clip to ScrapBook
I was once where you are..I was 15 years younger than ANYONE on staff. But after a while, my first grade team bonded..the older teachers taught me so many common sense 'stuff they didn't tell you about in college'. And I
oohed and ahhed over those grandbaby pictures. They, in turn, wanted to hear all about my weekends at lunch on Mondays. They used to get tickled at my 20 something dilemmas. Fast forward 20 years..I am in a new school..(I transferred after 19 years at the same school). And I'm the OLD one..accckk!! *LOL* I'm married with stepkids and I have learned more this week about breast pumps and epidurals
and engagement rings from my younger coworkers. We're bonding but it is funny when they couldn't believe I liked the show 'Friends'. It takes time..but you will make friends. And you know those 'old lady' teachers I began working with 20 years ago? They are all retired and we all keep in touch and they laugh at me because I , too, am soooo tired by 3:00. Hang in there..I do hope it gets better for you. :-)
