I always tell my kids to remember to do this
tell the reader what you are going to tell them
example I think that we should not have to wear school uniforms. then they support their arguement. Last tell the reader what you just told them. I believer that wearing school uniforms is wrong and I hope that the school changes its policy soon. Usually kids don't remember (or some adults) to make a statement, support it and then retell the statement in another way. Hopes this helps some
