What works best for me.
By Kelly

Clip to ScrapBook
I teach kindergarten, and dismissal can be crazy, especially because we have busers, aftercare, and walkers, all with different dismissals. I prepare the children to go home about 20 minutes before the end of the day. First I explain the hwk, then give out their take home folders. After the children receive their folders, they go to their cubbies and pack up their stuff. Tehy come back to the rug, and when everyone is ready, we take out our bubble chair and do share and learn (show and tell). I schedule 5 children per day for this. It is a great way to end the day, and gives me time to write any notes to parents and check the cubbies for forgotten items. It is also calm and quiet!
