Watch out for your vice/principal. I was hired as a 1st year teacher last year and had a difficult group. Everyone knew it but the new principal. She used it against me. She gave my class one of those behavior lectures, made it look to be my fault, then when I took a beh. problem to her she didn't back me up. Made my year awful. She used my beh. problems against me every chance she had. Document everything, watch your back, and good luck.
