behavior plan
By Jen

Clip to ScrapBook
I also teach 4th grade but i have a few more years experience. I would suggest a behavior contract which would go home daily for the parents to see and sign. Choose the number of target behaviors(start with 1-3)ex.-stay in seat, finish assignments, asking for help etc..Create a chart with days and divide into A.M and P.M. Mark with a sticker or happy/sad face for the behaviors. Set up a weekly goal(if he gets so many pointsor happy faces he can earn some kind of prize from you. Encourage parents to reward at home also. Just an idea-it may work.
