I had a similar problem
By 4th grade teacher

Clip to ScrapBook
My cooperating teacher and I had two TOTALLY different teaching styles. He was very formal with quiet students, lecture, then testing. I was hands on with games, cooperative learning activities and low level noise. I could tell that he thought all of the "playing games" I was having the students do was a waste of time and that they weren't learning anything. I just realized that he (a teacher for 20 years) was set in his ways and didn't agree with the way I was doing things. So, it was very boring, but I finished my placement "his way." Good luck to you. Just focus on the students and do the best you can!
