"bats"
By Tabitha

Clip to ScrapBook
In a class I took last year on incorporating reading and writng in science we watched a bat movie. We just watched the movie with no sound. As we were watching we wrote down descriptive words about the bats. We then made a prepostion poem using the descriptive words and prepostions. It turned out really cool.
I did this activity last year when we read Mr. Popper's Penguins. We watched a movie about penguins and wrote just what I said above. It turned out to be real cool and I wrote it out on chart paper. Then my students wrote their own prepostion poems about penguins. You could do the same around bats. Also get inin the geography around were bats live and can be found.
I hope this helps! Good Luck!
