it never fails!

It never seems to fail that an administrator comes in precisely at the moment you have a bit of chaos. Mine always seems to like to come in during transitions--collecting papers, books, getting ready for lunch and all that sort of stuff. Fortunately, he also comes in when we are in harmony--sitting quietly reading, paying attention while I am explaining math on the board, etc. The fact is, your principal needs to come into your room on a variety of occasions. If she would come in more often, she would see your class in action. Maybe you could invite her in for a visit when you have something special planned that might knock off her socks?
