In the same boat!
By Sailor Girl

Clip to ScrapBook
I totally understand.

I do "extra" things for my class -- web site, pictures, newsletter.

My principal asks me to do anything that is considered innovative by any means. It is like I am the education models -- model.

Any time there is a function after school, summer school, tutoring -- who gets asked?
Me.

I am not tenured. So I do it. It didn't bother me, but now I am soooo tired -- all the time. I sometimes consider transferring.

But there are some pluses. She has passive agressive ways of getting at the teachers who don't do anything.

I do get great evaluations, etc. I don't think that I am that great of a teacher, but I think she knows the extra work that I am doing and can see that in my classroom.
