Autobiography

Believe it or not, I remember and still have my autobiography from 2nd grade. While we were writing and refining over several days, my teacher did a shadow portrait of us. She used the overhead and traced our profile on black construction paper. We cut it out and mounted it for the cover of our autobiography. The text was just the main info about ourselves: full name, birthdate, place of birth, age, favorite color, sport, food, movie, book, and what we like to do. I would also add what you want to be when you grow up. I am going to send an inofrmation sheet home to fill out with parents and then the kids have all their info in front of them. This is great to set out at Open House, too! Whatever you do, have fun!
