prefixes/suffixes
By KT

Clip to ScrapBook
I put up chart paper when I introduce a new prefix or suffix (or compounds, contractions etc.)I label the chart and give all the kids a post-it during reading time. If they find a word anywhere in their reading they write it on the post-it correctly with their name and post it on the chart. I write the list on the chart along with their initials. I also put extra post its on the chart to continue adding to it for the next week or so. Kids never seem to tire of this with new charts and categories to find.
