Learning from Jenny Jones... By red

I do not know the name of any books, but I have a fun idea that worked well in my class. I called it "Jenny Jones for a Day". After covering the information with the kids, I passed out signs that had the types written on them, I wrote out sentences the night before and put them one at a time on the overhead. Then students held up the signs to "vote" for the type of sentence they thought it was. If you do not watch Jenny Jones, the audience often votes on guests and topics by holding up signs...the kids will know what you mean...most of them have most likely seen the show at one time or another. Hope this helps...red
