Extention of Tour

My class, last year, blew up balloons and made paper mache planets. They researched all about a specific planet of their own interest and did a small index card ( - 3x5 - )full of facts. Then about three balloons were done a day until the whole class was finished. After this, they all did presentations of the planet. Next, I made a solor system in our school hallway, next to our classroom. I made a banner to put on both sides so that other students from lower and upper grades could view the children's work. The whole school loved it...It was especially nice to have during Parent Night.
