to all teachers out there....(4th grade especially!!) If you could only have ONE teaching tool in your classroom (besides books and projector) what would it be? I think I'm going to buy a Geosafari...any input there? I| think I'm going to start small...maybe a group of 4 kids...to see how they AND I!! do. We'll be covering spelling lists (love Jessicas idea for writing words in shaving cream!!! think I'll use a cookie sheet instead of my kitchen table...oh did I forget to mention I'm going to do this at home??? Then if all goes well I can go to the principal and say 'Here's what we've been doing, here's | |
the improvment in their grades..are you interested in having me bring this to school' yadda yadda) If anyone has any ideas how I can make these 2 hours a week FUN for the kids while still re-inforcing their lessons would be GREATLY appreciated. I think I'm going to buy a big ole wipe off board, too...should save paper Thanks in advance for any of your GREAT ideas!!
