I have been having a rough start this school year, for different reasons. Your email and this web sight allows me to feel normal, that we all have these feelings from time to time and that they are normal and healthy. I needed what you had written to kick me back into reality and to realize that teaching is not just my job, it is who I am. Every job has stress. No matter where I go I will not escape this. However, what other occupation allows you to walk out onto a playground for lunch hour supervision and hear 20 children scream your name in unison and come running over, arms waving, attacking you with a giant hug!! Thank you. You have helped me put things into perspective and I applaud you.
