this tragedy

As another teacher who teaches in the immediate New York metro area, I know the hurt and fear I felt with my students on Tuesday. I applaud you for your strength and attention to your students who need you most right now. I found it very hard to focus with my class this week b/c my mind was with the numerous people I personally know who are missing or families who have been affected. I know my students are most safe with me and normalcy will be best for them, but I find it hard for me to smile and go on. I thank everyone of you who posted supporting messages. It helps more than words can express to know that the rest of the country mourns with us. Thank you again.
