Clip to ScrapBook
It sounds as though your students have been through a difficult week. By Friday, there wasn't a single teacher in my building whose class wasn't a little nutso--it's not just you! :0)

First thing tomorrow, I would sit the class down at the carpet (or in your meeting area) and just have a heart to heart talk. You need to let them know that while last week was crazy, they need to get back on track this week. Review your expectations for them, and review your classroom rules and the consequences. If you do this in a confident and matter-of-fact way, they will know that you mean business.

If some students are still pushing the envelope, contact with parents is definitely necessary. Hope this helps! Have a great week!
