Living up to it
By Pax

Clip to ScrapBook
I agree with your sentiments. Perhaps some Americans and especially New Yorkers will think very hard before fund raising for terrorist organisations in other countries which I am afraid we can't deny. These people are evil,
even though some are wolves in sheep's clothing. Ordinary people do not act in this way.Having a grievance does not give you the right to kill innocent people and ruin lives. Yes, in Palestine, Israel, anywhere where this sort of conflict rages there are decent people who don't want to be involved. But we have no say, no voice. The troublemakers get all the attention which is exactly
how they like it. They make the world believe that decent people like you and me want what they want. They are the children who thump someone to get the toy. The children who can't take no as an answer, the children who think it's not fair even though you have bent over backwards to BE fair, the children who get what they want and then want more. There is no give and take with terrorists. The word compromise is not in their dictionary. I feel sure that no matter what America tries to do we will be seen as the bogey man. Wouldn't it be lovely to hear the ordinary people in all these countries raising their voices to be heard.
Some day, some day I pray.
Pax
