We have always touched on site words, but this year will be focusing on them a lot. Our students do not come to us reading and most don't even know the basic site words. We also use the list mentioned above, google it and you will find it. We make flashcards, read decodables with the site words, have some word work activities in D5, and practice fluency with site word passages...we are starting right on day one and hoping the kids learn them pretty quick, since it SHOULD be a review by this point.
