Clip to ScrapBook
If it were me, I would take them to the telephone right away and have them call their parents. I hope you have a telephone nearby. This will make it easier for you to do this. I am lucky enough to have my staff room just two doors down from my classroom. If I have to call a parent, then I have a child take names while the children work. I tell them before I leave that if anyone so much as whispers, I will call their parents, too.

In this situation, you need to get your parents involved. Many principals fear parents, so I would also encourage your parents (when you call them) to contact the principal about this. Principals, in my experience, bow down more to parents than they do to the teachers.
