Maths game
By Grace

Clip to ScrapBook
You could try this game. fold A4 page 3 times to make eight spaces. Write answers in a list. Children choose eight answers, one for each space. Make them write iwith pen or they may try to cheat. Divide them into small groups.
Give each group a die. They throw the die in turn. If they throw a 5, they say 5and 5 are 10. If they have 10 on their page they may circle it like Bingo, If they don't have the answer the die passes to the next child. First to circle all answers wins. To extend, make dice with numbers 7-12 on them, or use 2dice. Throw dice and add the two numbers. Circle the answer if it is on the
page. Then try two dice with bigger numbers. You can also use the same game to subtract.Throw two dice. Subtract the numbers. If they have the answer on their page, circle it.
I've just read this over and it's as clear as mud!!! Hope you understand. GRACE
