Kinders are wonderful...you'll love them. The book, Joyful Learning by Bobbi Fisher would give you a framework for your routines, what to teach and how. After that, I'd suggest you getting the following books: Perspectives on Shared Reading by Fisher; Guided Reading, and Word Matters, both by Fountas and Pinnell, as well as Interactive Writing by McCarrier and Pinnell.
