    5th Stations

    My students go to a station for 30 minutes, 15 minutes guided reading, and 15 self selected reading. I meet with my lowest reading group for 30 minutes, my average for 15, and my high group for15.
    I have 5 stations:
    word work
    nonfiction- newsmagazine
    buddy reading
    listening
    computer/ Mountain Language
    My intervention students are on a whole different schedule- they see me every other day and meet with my aide to do their station work on the other day. They only go through all the stations every two weeks. They go to reading interventions when I am meeting with the average and high group.

    I don't do all the worksheets that go with my basal story (I don't have to) and the kids do those during whole group instruction or for homework.
