I am in my first year of teaching and last Friday, (only the second week of school) I developed pinkeye. I've been to the doctor twice already and he can't tell me when it'll be healed so I'm out indefinitely. I don't think the principal is holding it against me and I'm sure they won't hold your absence against you either! They don't want the contagions in the school anymore than you do!
