I understand what you are going through
By Lizard

Clip to ScrapBook
This is my first year too teaching third grade.... I get so frustrated at the end of the day with the few ( three or four) students that I keep having to remind over and over again to do the right thing, to get to work, etc. There are 18 other students that are great and on-task but I feel like I am failing them all, becuase I can't focus on the good ones in lieu of the bad ones and vice a versa... I too left a career to teach, but I don't feel like I am touching anyone, much less the children.... I am starting my third week, and seriously thinking about getting out of this profession already, even though I thought I would love it, and deep down probably do, but I am so frustrated I could just scream.... so you are not alone... liz
