Here's what I use with my bear. I posted this below under Open House.

Dear Friends,

My name is B.J. Bear, and I would love to be your traveling companion on your vacations, business trips, and day
trips. My main goal is to educate Mrs. Gallipoli's 2nd graders about exciting places all over the world!

If you, a relative, friend, or neighbor are traveling somewhere, why not take me along? I don't take up much space, and I'm very photogenic! I've already posed on the beach in Florida for the camera, and I've collected many postcards and brochures from various attractions. The kids

just love hearing about my travels!!!

So, if you want to share your trip with me, please send a note into school, so Mrs. Gallipoli can prepare me for the journey. While we're away, you can help me write in my journal so the second graders can learn about our destination.

Also, students do not have to be present on our excursion. I just want to make sure I visit as many places as possible so the children have more to learn!

Fondly,

B.J. Bear
