time capsule

I do a time capsule. Each student is given a paper lunch sack to decorate and put their name on. I have a worksheet that has questions on it such as: what's you favorite color? food? what do you like best about yourself? family? what do you want to be when you grow up? I also have them write a letter to themselves. I measure each child with a piece of yarn. All of this goes into the sack until the last week of school. We have such fun getting them out and looking at how we've grown and changed. Handwriting is a very noticable change too.
