Before you decide on anything, take a look at your report card. We recently changed report cards and I will no longer grade some things I had previously graded. For example, I used to give spelling homework and a spelling test each week. Spelling is no longer graded on the report card so it doesn't make sense to continue this practice. Also, my report card grades are now computated using a rubric so it makes more sense for me to grade that way rather than the traditional % or letter grades. Good luck! Callie
