Paper Overload...

I've been teaching for five years and just recently found a system that works for me...I don't feel as connected to my team when I'm in my classroom correcting; therefore I color code my assignments as to things I want to grade myself and what we will correct together as a class. Eventhough we correct assignments in class, you're still able to assess the children's progress. I manage to enter the grades as the children are working productively. I've amazed myself with how easy it has become. I feel relieved that my bag is a bit lighter at the end of the day; however there's always work to get done. I hope this helps some...
