Many teachers I know use a card change system. Color coordinated cards represent daily behavior. The more misbehaved the more card changes and with each change a different privelage lost or a letter home to parents. I like rewarding over the card change system. Those who are good get extra privelages such as free reading time, extra P.E. time, no homework certificate, gets to be classroom leader for a day, things like that.
