I think all of the management ideas listed on these posts are good ones. It is important for you to find one you're comfortable with.

My suggestion for you is to stop worrying about curriculium for the next week or so and teach behavior and proceedure. You NEED to do this now because if you don't the rest of the year will go on as you have already experienced and NO ONE could take that for the rest of the year. During this week of teaching behavior try to find someone to mentor you...ask the principal if you can have a mentor. It's required in my district and I believe in my state as well.

When you have the behavior in control get to the curriculium and you'll do fine.

Post and ask us again for suggestions or help...we're all glad to help
