I am a new older teacher, and these are my concerns too. To the new teacher who post this, do you not have a resource teacher that works with you. In my state our first year is our internship year. We have a resource teacher who works with us. We are observed 9 times, by the r. teacher, principal and a university person. I have been luck, I have had persons I can go to for questions. I am sure there is someone at your school who would take you under their wing, perhaps the principal could give you someone's name. Just keep on keeping on, and I am glad that I am not the only first year teacher that is feeling this. Thank you and good luck
