help for poor readers
By Cathy

Clip to ScrapBook
I think what your kids need is some good books that they can handle on their own and the time to read in class. Begin by reading to them or use a tape. Everyone loves a good story. Your enthusiasm will help. I have taught 4th grade for years and I really thinks they are the best age. They really care about their teachers and buy into what is important to you. Good luck! One of my favorite books is Shiloh. If you can get the tape, they will love it.
