Make-Up Work

I just have a brightly colored file folder on my desk labeled Make-Up Work. Whenever I pass out an assignment to the class, I take the one for the absent student, write their name and date on it and slip it in the folder. Then, when they return, I have everything in a central location. If they have make-up work or a test for a grade, they do it for me during PE/Music time. I'm sure with all of the talented teachers here, that someone has a much better system, but this is what I use (until that brilliant person posts their idea!)
