an update

Clip to ScrapBook
Well, I decided to try the reading after lunch plan for unwinding that everyone suggested. In theory it worked, because once I did the reading, they were more calm for the rest of the day. However, it did take quite a while for me to get them sitting and not touching each other or talking. Was it worth it? I guess, because they actually got to learn in the afternoon instead of me spending the whole time chasing kids down. I'm going to stick with it and hopefully once it becomes routine, it will be less of a struggle. Thanks for the advice!
