unfinished work
By VL

Clip to ScrapBook
You might try getting some of those file folder pockets, laminate them and attach those to their desk to put all unfinished work that needs to go home into throughout the day. My students each have a 2 pocket folder that
they supply which they use as their daily take home folder. Keep the laminated pocket folder at school or you may never get it back. Toward the end of the day allow time to have every child get out their take home folder and instruct them to put the papers from the laminated folder into their take home folder. You might even need to do some sort of a check list. Then make sure it gets
into their backpack. Send some kind of notice home to the parents telling them they should see this folder every day. I am going to use a homework form that requires the parents signature and date every day, so they help you get the kids motivated to bring their stuff home. You might also have some sort of incentive chart for homework returned on time and a reward for a full chart, or at the end of each week. Sorry this is so long, I hope this helps.
