banned Harry

Amber are you at Michigan State or Mississippi State? If you're in Michigan then you realize, of course, that the conservatives in West Michigan don't believe in Harry and the "witchcraft" that is practiced in the book and| that they worked very hard to get the book banned here in West Michigan. It began in earnest in Zeeland and snowballed to several communities. Remember that Zeeland does not allow the sales of liqour on Sunday either. Several schools bowed in to the pressure and they are banned in school. Other's were more open minded and chose to keep the books in the school library but not to | |
read them aloud in class. Others allow the book to be read. I personally don't believe in banning books, however, discretion must be used with all books not just Harry Potter. How do you feel about this?
