Starting Salaries for DFW

I live in the Dallas-Ft Worth area, and am trying to get into one of the mid cities districts. Starting salaries here range from about $30,000 to $36,000 starting pay. Keep in mind, though, that I have found only one district so far that pays all medical insurance premiums for the employee. Most only pay a percentage, and until recently some teachers were paying in excess of $600 a month for family benefits.
