Classroom management
By Debbie

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi all,
I've decided to put together a 3 ring binder with a separate divider for each child. Once we're done deciding upon classroom expectations, they'll be posted on a chart...when a child chooses to interrupt the learning
in the room, he/she will go to the book, date and write the expectation that was not followed. Maybe who else was involved. I can add any consequence or additional intervention needed. This way, it's private, but recorded (for little ones, you might just number the expectations so they can put the number down). I think I'm going to place the book on my assessment table, near
the back of the room, but in sight of the group work table. If I'm seeing a pattern each week, the list will be copied and sent home for a parent signature. Best of luck this year! ;-D
