During our Fall Festival, our school has each homeroom donate a basket with a particular theme. For instance, one classroom may use a Christmas theme and fill the basket with all kinds of products related to Christmas. Parents donate money or items to fill the basket for their child's classroom. The baskets are displayed on the night of the fall festival, and people may write down their name with a bid for the basket. At the end of the night, the person with the highest bid buys the basket. Most baskets made between $30 and $50 apiece. Our school made several hundred dollars, and it didn't cost the school a dime!
