Shared some ideas on a post above, but you might make 'goodie bags' for the kids and maybe one for each of the parents...A special poem is attached to the bag, with the corresponding items inside. To the kids: Hugs-everybody needs them, even your teacher! (Several hugs candies inside) To the parents: Pencil-list your blessings every day! There are several poems for all different occasions and people...if you want entire poems, just post or email again...The bags were a big hit! We did one for the kids at Open House, and are going to do one for the parents at conference time. ;-D
