Clip to ScrapBook
Hi all,
We typed an agenda for the families to follow. I posted it somewhere else on the boards, if you still want it Ann, email and I will send it to you. Probably my favorite items on it are to take a family photo
(we used the digital camera and photo printer, so the pictures may be printed as they're taken). Also, to introduce yourself to a friend you don't yet know, and to have your family introduce themselves to a new family.
The suggestions from the others were terrific. If you don't have time to put together a video or presentation, keep it in mind for next year. During the last quarter
of the year, brainstorm everything done over the course of the year-routines, etc. Form small groups and ask the children to write about these topics...for example, Language Arts block groups, must do's and choices, genres of writing completed, etc. Then you have your material for your presentation program (and the kids wrote it!). Add photos and short video clips taken through out the year...I usually show it at the end of year open house and again in the fall for new families. The time frame seems long now, but it will fly by that evening. Best of luck!
