I get to know my students from the beginning, and find out about special needs that they might have. Ofcourse if a child is having bladder problems and/or taking medication, I am going to take that into consideration and I quietly tell that child just to get up and leave whenever they need to go to the restroom and I'll know where they are. That is a very important point!
