I know how you feel

I have to teach Texas history, and I never took a class in the subject (I moved here while in high school). It scared me to death when I student taught! What did I do? I took home the textbook! I read the chapters until I felt comfortable to teach it. Once you learn the history you'll be able to come up with ideas for teaching it!
