Reading Tree

I like the tree idea. If I had a tree, I would read 'the giving tree' by Shel Silverstein to the kids as an opener. I like the idea of the kids making the leaves for the tree and writing book titles or their favorite poems on it. You could call the tree 'your tree of learning', or 'reach to the sky with reading', or 'a book a day keeps reading recovery away'! No, that's just a joke. I love our reading recovery people I think they do wonders for kids.
