You have an incredible journey ahead of you. May it be a good one! You might want to check out the board for second career teachers. These are people who started later than the traditional just-out-of-school teachers. They should have some great words of advice for you. I post there because I started teaching young, quit, then came back much later. But most of them are people who actually came to teaching at an older age. Good luck. I hope you make it.
