FYI--in case any of you aren't familiar with a great related book by Dr. Seuss called "Bartholomew and the Oobleck"...a disgruntled king is tired of the weather and demands something new...he gets oobleck. Have fun!
PS> You might also tie in "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" if your doing a weather unit and there would be endless creative writing stories the kids could spin off on.
